Planner - HT Pyrometry Process

Individuals certified in Heat Treat Pyrometry Planner has passed an objective assessment of their theoretical knowledge and understanding of how to successfully perform heat treatment processes expected of a Pyrometry Process Planner. The assessment aligns with the Body of Knowledge published in PD6103. Key assessment areas include: - General knowledge of Quality and Aerospace standards - Sensors such as thermocouples, RTDs, ect. - Instrumentation - Thermal Processing Equipment - Contract Review All PRI Qualification program examinations are created using the applicable PRI Qualification program Body of Knowledge (BoK), which defines the baseline knowledge and experience required to be considered competent to perform the specified job role in aerospace special process manufacturing. All BoKs are created by subject matter experts who participate in the PRI Qualification Body of Knowledge Review Boards. All BoKs are updated periodically according to the latest revision of PRI Qualification program documentation (PD6100: Industry Managed Special Process Bodies of Knowledge) to ensure consistency with current industry practice.
